What is Salvation?

What does Salvation mean?  Salvation is the act of saving or protecting from harm, risk, loss, or destruction. It is deliverance from the power, penalty, and repetition of sin; redemption from bondage.

What does it mean to be Saved? It means to experience Emancipation, Liberation,Lifeline, Preservation, Release, Restoration, and Safekeeping.

These are all the things that we need from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to live a productive, free, favored, and prosperous life.  It is through Jesus that all things consist and all things hold together, like glue.  He is the way, the truth, and the light, no man can go to the Father, except he first go through Jesus Christ.  Our Savior was the ultimate example of steadfastness and through it all he is present with us.  He was there when we were carefully formed and fashioned in our mother womb, he was and is there through every success and failure, he was and is there through every critical and life altering decision, and he is certainly there when you finally decide to allow him to be the King of Glory and sit on the throne of your heart.  Read these scriptures, get a full understanding of who Christ is in your life and at the bottom of this page is a prayer; please we encourage you to allow Christ into you heart by saying the words to the Salvation Prayer.

Prayer of Salvation

Father, I know that I have sinned.  I believe that Jesus paid the price for my sins with His blood on the cross so that I may have life and life more abundantly.  I ask you Jesus to forgive me and cleanse me of my sins and to be the Lord of my life.  I thank you for shedding your blood at Calvary, having nailed every one of my sins to the cross.  By faith I believe that the power of sin is broken off my life and by faith I am free, because, Father, your Son has made me free indeed.  Lord please remove the bondage of shame, embarassment, and humiliation off of me and replace it with the fruit of the Spirit.   Empower and fill me with your Holy Spirit that I may live a life pleasing to you.  Thank you Lord, for saving me and making me a member of the family of God.  In Jesus' Name.  Amen ( It is so)!
