Apostle Melvin J. Colbert is the Founder, visionary, and Senior Apostle of Calvary Gateway International (CGI) located at 844 Scott Nixon Memorial Drive Martinez, Ga. and has served as Senior Leader since her inception in 1995. His dedication and commitment to God has taken CGI from glory to glory and has changed the lives of people of all nationalities. He carries a fathering mantle and is a strong marketplace ambassador. Prior to his calling of a Pastor he served as a productive and enthusiastic Sales Manager. Later he founded his own enterprise and as CEO of Coltronics Company, his business flourished with clients such as Lockheed Martin, Westinghouse, Boeing, Martin Marietta, Patrick Air force Base, etc. He has a trailblazer anointing and has the unique ability to attract international business leaders and professionals with the strong business savvy qualities he possesses and his dress for success mindset. As a spiritual entrepreneur, he served as an Evangelist, setting up Bible studies around the CSRA; counseling troubled youth and their parents while winning the lost for Christ. As an Apostle he remains a model to many of how to operate in ministry yet have a voice of moral clarity in the marketplace. Apostle Colbert is the author of Men of Valor Books 1 & 2, Load Lifters, and Present Help in Time of Trouble. He and his wife Apostle Brenda are the proud parents of two children: Jabari (Erika) Colbert and Shannon (Josephus) Willis. And the grandparents of three lovely girls: Aria Elaye, Jayla Ayanna, and Alyssa Shanelle. Educationally, Apostle Colbert is a graduate of International Bible Institute and Seminary, holding an honorary Doctorate. Dr. Colbert is also the founder of Calvary Bible Institute and Seminary where he carries the title of Chancellor. His anointed teachings and powerful sermons are soul stirring, encouraging, and fresh revelation that enables the power of God to be unleashed inside of the believer. They have blessed, reconciled, and restored the lives of many and has brought thousands of people to the Lord.
Apostle Brenda W. Colbert

Dr. Brenda W. Colbert affectionately known as “Apostle B” is the wife of the Senior Apostle, Melvin J. Colbert. She is the Co-founder and Apostle of Calvary Gateway International (CGI). Dr. B has always been a pioneer for much of her life from helping to integrate schools to serving on the Teacher Advisory Council making decisions regarding the plans for the opening of a Teacher Center in Richmond County. Mrs. Colbert was recognized by the Georgia Council of Teachers of English for making a difference in the education of her students. She was selected for Teacher of the Year Award. Furthermore, Dr. Colbert’s classroom was used as field experience for many Education Majors from the former Augusta College (Augusta University). Not only is she a scholar of higher learning but also an advocate. God has placed a hunger and thirst in her for the Word of God, and an unquenchable desire to see others brought to the Truth of Jesus Christ, and into the Kingdom. Dr. Colbert is a retired public school teacher, counselor, author, and innovator. She holds a BS in Education, Masters in Theology and Doctorate in Divinity. Dr. B was instrumental in helping to establish the Augusta Bible Institute. She taught Extension Class for the International Seminary out of Jacksonville, Fl. She is the Co- Founder of Calvary Bible Institute and Seminary and founder of CGI’s WOW (Women of Wisdom). Her diversity and experiences have proven to bring depth, clarity and reality to the listener and reader. She covers a wide range of subject material from preaching deep truths of God’s word with prophetic flow to practical “How To’s”. This ministry that God has placed in her heart has been a blessing to thousands in churches, seminars, conferences, and workshops; as she shares the truth with clarity and simplicity. God has used her to instruct many Leaders, Pastors, and Apostles in the region and the nation since the late 1980's to present. Skillfully, she compellingly exegetes each message that flows through her through the power of the Holy Spirit’s anointing; which imparts life.
